What's growing on? /  We've got loads of different activities going on at the farm. Our job list changes from season to season, so there is always something new to be done!

We divide our activities into 5 groups, which support our key pillars of biodiversity, community, and food sovereignty.

Wildlife Friendly

Market Garden

Volunteering in a wildlife friendly garden can be a great way to help support local wildlife and improve the local ecosystem.

Help the Green Team prepare no-dig growing beds, sow seeds, transplant seedlings and harvest organic produce.

Social Impact Monitoring

Social impact monitoring is a valuable tool, as it can help us to better understand the needs of our community and ensure that our programs are making a positive difference. This can help the Got Greens to allocate resources more effectively, improve the quality of our services, and ultimately have a greater impact on the communities we serve.

Land Management

Land management volunteering activities involve taking care of the land and natural resources in a given area. This can include tasks such as planting trees, maintaining trails, removing invasive species, and conducting surveys to monitor the health of the land and its wildlife.

Community Space

Our green space is a beautiful and serene area perfect for hosting groups or conducting workshops. Located in the edge of the city, it is easily accessible and provides a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It also includes several seating areas and tables, perfect for small group discussions or individual contemplation.

Wildlife Monitoring

Observing and recording the behavior and presence of wildlife on Got Greens Farm. We're doing this for a variety of reasons, such as to study the health and behavior of species, to monitor the effects of habitat loss or climate change, or to assess the success of our conservation efforts.
